The weekend saw further rounds of club champs qualifying. On Saturday the club competition of the day was a medal round and in group 1 Jeremy Harp carded a nett 66, followed by Ivan Karaitiana on nett 68, Paul Beech on nett 72 and Rod Dravitzki on 73 nett. In group 2 Shane Hawkins led the pack with a nett 67 and daylight back to Ken Downing with nett 71, followed by Kevin Gibbs on nett 72 and Greg Granich with a nett 74. Holes in two went to Zeb Livingston and Ivan Karaitiana who scored two of them. Nearest the pins went to Greg Granich, Rod Dravitzki, Jeremy Harp, Ivan Karaitiana, Kurt Karaitiana and Terry Fleet.
Sunday was also a medal competition and Ivan Karaitiana is in superb form leading up to the club champs and won the day with a nett 69 followed by Byron Karaitiana on nett 71 and Shane Hawkins with a nett 72. Ivan scored the only hole in two.
