On Saturday the club completion was a Medal round combined with the Flag Competition. The winner of the flag competition was Maurice O'Reilly who hit his final shot down the 19th hole. In the medal competition first was Paul Beech with a nett 68 followed by Maurice O'Reilly on nett 72. There were no holes in two and the nearest to the pins went to Neville Biel, Phillip Granich, Kevin Gibbs, Troy Shaw and Shane Hawkins.
Sunday was a Stableford competition and first with 39 points was Graeme Dick, followed by Chris Wenden on 38 points and Stu Northe on 35 points. Ray Cocks scored two holes in two.
On Tuesday the Vets held their mid-year Fish & Chip Par competition. In the men's division first was Meki Lauvi on 1 up followed by Ross Ireland who was all square. In the Ladies Nolene Stevenson was an easy winner on 2 up followed by Maria Lauvi on 5 down. For the nine holers Cilva Richmond led the way on 3 down. Nearest the pins went to Lyn Morrell and Meki Lauvi who got two of them. The day was completed by a fish and chip lunch with the greens staff and their merry band of helpers.
