PLACING: When placing is permitted a ball may be lifted, cleaned and placed within 15 cm no nearer the hole on own fairway only. LIFTING WITHOUT PENALTY: A ball may be lifted and dropped without penalty not nearer the hole in the following circumstances: a) on another tee or green outside of play b) on grass cutting marked by GUR c) on stones, except in a hazard D) a suckered ball, except in a hazard E) one club length , relief from a tree under two club lengths in height
STAKED TREES: When a staked tree is more than two club lengths in height, the stake is an immovable obstruction
WATER HAZARDS: All ditches and drains (other than those marked as GUR) are defined as water hazards or lateral water hazards as the case may be. The creek alongside 1st fairway is a lateral water hazard. Refer under Rule 26. When playing the 9th hole. the area between the yellow pegs is a water hazard. A provisional ball may be played.
OUT OF BOUNDS: The boundary fences of the course and white pegs where there are no boundary fences define out of bounds. Where the electric fence is beside but outside the white pegs, the electric fence will have the status of a boundary fence. The lake beside the 9th green is is out of bounds.
POWER LINES: A ball hitting power lines or poles on the hole being played must be replayed.
SPRINKLERS: If a sprinkler impedes swing or stance, free drop within one club length no nearer the hole.
BUNKERS: Stones laying in a bunker may be moved.
PROTECTIVE FENCE: The protective fence behind the 4th green is an integral part of the course.
TEE MARKERS: Fixed tee markers are immovable obstructions.
DISTANCE MARKERS: to centre of green - Blue 180 metres, White 135 metres, Red 100 metres.
