On Saturday the club competition was a medal round. First in Group 1 was Philip Granich with a nett 67 followed by Ivan Karaitiana with nett 68 and Chris Wenden with a nett 69. In Group 2 Neville Biel was first with a nett 69 followed by Martin Andrew and Carl Cocks with nett 70. Philip Granich scored the only hole in two and he also picked up a nearest to the pin as did Ivan Karaitiana, Greg Granich and Cheycoda Cocks.
Sunday was a stableford round and first with 40 points was Frankie Martin with 40 points from Ray Cocks with 38 points and Laurence Butler with 33 points. Darryl Cole scored the only hole in two on Sunday.
On Tuesday the vets played a Bisque Par and in the men's division first was Roger Stenton on 7 up followed by Ross Ireland and Eddie Tuuta on 6 up. In the ladies division Janet Shaw was on top with 4 up followed by Nan McNae on 3 up and next was Maria Lauvi who was all square. Nearest to the pins went to Nan McNae, Maria Lauvi and Alan Allsworth.
This weekend sees the semi finals of the Club Championships so some good tight matches will be expected.
